Holliday Park Cooperative Apartamentos

After our mother died, we cleaned and addressed everything on their list, and turned the keys in beginning of August. After postponing closing multiple times, we closed end of Nov. They would not allow my brother to attend because he wasn't a member. Mind you they had a buyer lined up from a list. Upon closing, we were told we had to wait 2 weeks for the money. We received it Dec. 19 2023.
We were responsible for getting the unit pristine for buyers, removed carpeting from upper story and stairs... . We paid 1100.00 to refinish the floors upstairs. Who does this?
Also be aware, a resident cannot take Holliday Park to court without paying their legal fees. Please read small print when you buy in. Lee mas

Turned in keys after we immaculately cleaned unit and met all check out requirements. We were made to pay 3 months of rent and ac charges for our empty unit while new kitchen was installed for the new tenants. Why did we have to pay 3 months of AC charges for maintenance people to work on unit for someone else? The closing was delayed past the 10 day written policy by 3 months after we turned in our keys. Ms. BUCK, reality agent, was extremely rude, demeaning, arrogant and nasty. Did not do her... job. Did not address our questions and refused to return our inquires. We made approved improvements to unit including glass block windows and a cement patio and were not credited at moveout. Deductions were even made from final payout for inor spiderwebs that had accumulated in basement windows when unit sat empty through no fault of our own. Sidewalks around unit are in terrible shape cause injury from trips and falls among the elderly. Overall, our moveout experience was extremely concerning and messy. Knowing how members are treated by lack of respect, arrogance, overreaching rules self-serving policies....I would not recommend this place to live. Several family and friends still members and have complaints about policies and lack of attention to member needs.
