I would leave a 0 Star If I could. Don't do it, if you want to get your deposit back. I only stayed there for less than 2 years and kept an open contract for the second year because we were planning to move out. I found out that the apartment had bed bugs the first week we moved in. I had to throw away my new furniture. Not just they didn't give us back our deposit, but charged us another $440. My house was very clean as I am a freak clean person. They charged me for the replacement of... their carpet and when I left the carpet was in a very good condition. I talked to a lawyer and he said unless there are paint stains or bleach stains or any extreem damages on the carpet, they shouldn't have charge us for the normal wear on the carpet. So expect to pay for their updates when you move out. Lee mas

Quite honestly wouldn't stay here again if my only other choice was a box. The staff are Amazing people and make the process very smooth until the end. The air vents were full of what seems years of dirt, dust and pet hair. They said the carpet was brand new, but during my first vacuuming i was cleaning up dog hair deep in the carpet, I've never had a dog... Lie #1 on their end.. Who knows what else was lied about. There were 2 inconvenient issues with the structure of my apartment I was made... aware of on the first walk through. They said they had an apt to get it fixed shortly. I left a year later with both still never fixed. I have never had an apartment take my entire deposit, but also tell me in the last walk through things were found fine... being that I diligently photo record the place before and after having my things placed inside I myself see no reason as to why I didnt get my money back when i left the place cleaner than i got it. Also, they had numerous other 200+ fees for various reasons they called me a month after i vacated to inform me on. Unless you wish to waste your money on oddly smelling and dimly lit halls just to have them treat it like its a 4 star establishment and tax you for staying there in hopes of using your money to fix their issues id steer clear.. Definitely one of the better quality and quieter apartments in the area, but it just doesn't sit right with me that they took so much of my money and i had nothing i could do about it and they're gonna just keep doing that to others with no warning? Wonderful, quiet, well kept community! My apartment was beautiful and management was very friendly and responsive. Maintenance was prompt-I never had to wait! I thought moving into a condo was what I wanted but now I'm looking to move back!

I highly recommend Colonial Village Apartments. The property is clean and well kept. I have lived here a long time and all problems or situations I've had are promptly resolved. Maintenance is on point and goes above and beyond requirements. The office staff is friendly and works hard to resolve tenants issues and accommodate requests. Colonial Village is truly a community with many long term residents.
