A rating of 4.0???
How can an apartment receive 18 one star reviews , Only one four-star review and get an overall score of four??? This is misleading at best! I guarantee they are not a four-star apartment complex.
I moved in one week before lockdown in 2020. Upon moving in, I noticed the apartment wasn’t clean. They were broken shelving, dead bugs, roach droppings plastered to the bathroom door and door frame, roach droppings in outlets, dirty stove and the list goes on. When this was brought to their attention... they tried to blame me. after I called corporate and sent pictures to them showing the nasty condition I was given, I won a contest for paying my rent on time…a $500 gift card. How convenient I get $500 and they don’t have to admit that they did anything wrong. In the two years I lived there, I never saw that contest ran again.
My neighbors upstairs were ungodly noisy. I’m talking about 2, 3 & 4 o’clock in the morning throwing parties, jumping up and down. I thought they’re coming through my ceiling. Each time this happened I called the office… NOTHING. I even gave them a police report number… Once again, NOTHING. They claimed they knew nothing about it. When we finally got security I asked if they gave them a report each time that I called. I was told the office was notified. NOTHING.
Roaches are a big problem there. I had to remove items from my home cover up all my TVs and computers because my building had to be sprayed like COVID was present. That didn’t stop them. Before I moved I fumigated so I would not take them to my new home.
I’ve been gone for six months. I have not received my deposit check. I called a couple of weeks ago asking about it and was told they would get with the manager. Fast forward to today. I had to call them and ask them where is my money. The girl on the phone said I have to ask my manager. She then said it had been forwarded to the address on file. That’s when I told her again I have not received it I don’t have it. I asked did you see if the check has been cashed? I have to ask my manager.
We’ll see if I get my deposit. Should be the full deposit because I returned the apartment in far better condition than what it was given to me. Floors were mopped, carpets were cleaned, and the stove and refrigerator were immaculately clean. The apartment was move-in ready unlike the condition that I received it in.
Don’t move here! For what you pay in rent and the crap you have to deal with… BUY A HOUSE!
