Champions of North Dallas Apartments

The management has always been so terrible to my family but this time it has gone too far. Two weeks ago I gave birth, and while I was giving her a sponge bath the ceiling began to leak. We ran out of the scene and all of a sudden water began to completely POUR down in our bathroom, hallway, kitchen, and laundry room. The water was RAW SEWAGE!! Apparently the toilet in the unit above us flooded and leaked into our apartment.
It has been 4 days now and the landlord has NOT responded or... attempted to clean or remedy the apartment. They stated they are “investigating” but at least send a cleaning crew in the meantime??? We are currently homeless and living hotel to hotel because I refuse to expose my baby to raw sewage? I am dealing with post partum and am completely sad and crying over this situation we look so terrible with the few clothes that we all have in a hotel with a newborn.
The landlord has often treated us like this they completely ignored us stating for three months that there is something wrong with the plumbing.
They raised the rent on us going from $1,206 p month to now $1,800 from random undisclosed fees that are NOT on the lease agreement.
They also have a roach problem in the unit that now will be increased with the sewage in the walls. We are totally stuck in our lease since they require a 60 day notice to terminate the lease.
I just feel so low right now. I truly hate this place. Do NOT move here!!! Lee mas

Just moved in 2 weeks ago. I've been waiting on approval for my parking space . Applied 7 days ago and still no parking.... They towed my car though and want 175$. Would not recommend ..save yourself the headache

If you care about your peace and sanity, please do not move here!! The area does not feel safe at all. I had to deal with a roach problem myself. Apartment manager and leasing agents are not helpful at all. Maintenance requests are not completed most of the time. Very overpriced for the area with basic amenities. Very loud neighbors and water constantly being turned off. Please save yourself the headache and move somewhere else. It’s not worth it.

After the Snowmageddon, even with power restored, the water was shut off due to burst pipes. Now that it's back on a week later, there's still no hot water, and there's also 3 holes in our kitchen wall and ceiling. We don't know when the Plumbers that put them there are coming back to patch them up because communication from management has been that poor.
This situation is a nightmare if you own cats. It all could have been avoided if Maintenance properly updated the plumbing instead of... patching it together as they go for years.

Avoid signing a lease here like the plague. Lee mas

I would give this property a be give ten if I could. From the lack of care from staff to the stinky breeze ways , from the bugs , to the foundation falling in this place is simply a joke. Reported bugs in my apartment to the manager. It is now five months later and no one has returned an email or call. Their phone lines have been down for five months (due to COVID) you knock on the door just to see the leasing girl making out with her boyfriend sitting on her desk. This place is disgusting and I... see it being shut down very soon. Word of advice take your money , your health , and your safety and run as far away from this place as you can !! Lee mas
