Bay Shore Manor Apartments

Manor is nice. Elv and Rub are wonderful caring positive staff. They are extremely welcoming, and take so much pride in living here. It was wonderful to see, and my husband I were so pleased. The grass, trees, are kept really nice. The atmosphere, living grounds both drew us in. It's so quiet. Last night we had excessive heat, but called Elvy, and he said Mr. Toad called him 10pm and I see they are working with an electrician this morning at 8am. Staff is responsive. The community is very nice and green, in good location, so close to main street. Near supermarket, restaurants, town, beaches, railroad, fire island. South Shore University Hospital is so close, my commute is fabulous! Management is to the point, attentive, and quick to respond to inquiries. Email is efficient. The hardwood floors are beautiful. The apartments are spacious and have abundant closet space. A downside is the air conditioning must be supplied. I've been in my building managed by benart for nearly 3 years now . I feel I’m in good hands. Had to reach out to them on the phone a few times. The last time, they were curt with me but they get the job done even if they don’t give you a long phone call or email. I do wish that they would set up a system for packages but admit it’s probably too difficult. I used to be on Clinton, Saxon, Brook, third Avenue. So, since pandemic, too much traffic so I dislike driving, so it’s super convenient for... me since train is there and easy access to street parking, or private lot or garages which is amazing especially for the location. My wife and I lived here prior to 1998. We transferred to another apartment around 2005. We would not have stayed here since 1998 or transferred to another apartment if we both didn't value Bay Shore Manor. Is everything perfect, no. But the property gives us pleasure, warmth, smiles, nature, a great feeling every time we come home. The property manager is fair, caring, reasonable, the PM practically lived here 3 or 4 months.
