Avoid like the plague

DO NOT MOVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT $200. I'm leaving this review on a throwaway account, because I don't want the internet to have my name and former address. But I DID want to warn people about this complex. The building is old. Water leaked through the ceiling and damaged our things 3 times. The latest leak caused the most significant damage. All emails asking about prorated rent were ignored, even though most of the unit was unlivable while repairs dragged... on for a month at the time we left. We moved suddenly, because the unit was uninhabitable for so long AND we felt like we were continually packing and unpacking our belongings whenever the roof leaked again. Hot water was unavailable multiple times a week. ALL water would be shut off at random multiple times a week as well. There was a strong gas smell spanning multiple units. The central heating was on its last leg. Paint jobs on the ceiling, walls, AND bathtub were carried out using strong smelling craft spray paint instead of interior paint and/or caulk. They couldn't even spring for kids craft paint primer, leaving all surfaces nearly impossible to clean as dirt clung to the sticky stinky spray paint. At the time we left, my mom's closet was STILL missing a ceiling. Office personnel either ignore calls and emails, complain about their job, or place blame on illusive upper management that can't be contacted directly. Work orders are closed without notification or the work being done. Maintenance will lie and say they've replaced our blinds or painted the ceiling when nothing was done at all. The front door to the complex often had a faulty lock, which periodically left it unlocked for anyone off the street. There were always a swarm of flies near the drain at the complex entrance, leading me to believe something rotten was just below us seeping into our water. This is an awful place and we're glad to be gone. We lived here for 7 years and watched the gradual decline of the property and its management. I will be reaching back out with a lawyer for compensation for the exorbitant expense incurred by having to move suddenly. My mom and I lost time from work and had to pay a lot out of pocket to move and replace damaged items. I can't believe a company that manages property this way has been in business for so long. Everyone involved ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Eduardo is fantastic,... (Verified Renter)

Eduardo is fantastic, absolutely no negative things to say about him. But wasn't happy that there were so many maintenance requests upon move-in, feels low staffed at this community. The leasing office is also hard to get a hold of, which is beyond frustrating.

When touring, it... (Verified Renter)

When touring, it was mentioned that the traffic noise is barely noticeable. Since moving in, this is definitely not the case. Also - because of the way the apartment was renovated, have had to had maintenance in multiple times to fix cabinets in the kitchen that keep falling off.

The appliances felt a little out of date and that was a big factor for me.

The apartment I... (Verified Renter)

The apartment I was shown was not in the same building as the pool, only the jacuzzi, which is why I have chosen another apartment to rent. It was a great place and I enjoyed the leasing professional. She was very kind and answered all of my questions. I appreciate your time!
