I wish I could rate this place a zero. Do not rent here: this company is dishonest and takes advantage of its applicants. I am a college student and applied to two apartments here, one as a backup in case the application ahead of us on our primary got the place. Crystal (who gave us the tour) was aware of us applying for two, as were the people at the main office. Not once did they warn us that they actually couldn’t process two applications. As soon as I had paid the two application fees (with... all of our applicants; the total was $250 per app), Crystal let me know that they could only process one and would have to pull the other. When I asked to have the other application refunded, they avoided giving me this refund at all costs. It took a week for them to tell me that they only did refunds only within 72 hours (my request was within that time frame). When that failed them, they finally allowed me to submit my complaint only to claim that they hadn’t received our payments (they had). I sent them evidence of all of our receipts. After receiving this, they insisted they hadn’t received the payment and demanded banking records of it. I sent them this as well and after receiving the evidence of the transaction they simply stopped responding. We have filed a report to the Better Business Bureau and are working to get our money - which according to their own policy they legally owe us - back. It is despicable to do this to anyone, but especially to college students, who they are deliberately taking advantage of. Disgusting. In addition, they are very suspicious in how they handle the application process, as they repeatedly will lose applications (they lost my co-signers, which we had a receipt for) and claim they didn’t get them, and they’ll request secure social security information, banking records, etc. over email to several correspondents. Really just a terrible experience overall.
