Park Catalina

I've lived in this building for a year and I love it! It is an extremely nice building to live in because it's quiet, has nice neighbors and good security. All the workers in this building are extremely nice and friendly and it is in a good location in Koreatown. Although it has no pool, the gym is 24/7 which is a huge plus and a big underground parking garage for its residents. The best thing about my apartment is that I have a washer and dryer in my unit which saves so much of my time! The... only thing I could complain about is sometimes the common areas aren't cleaned up right away but besides that, it is a very well maintained apartment building. It is one of the safest apartment buildings I've ever lived at.

Nice but hidden disadvantages

Some days I'm very impressed with this apartment complex. The apartment manager is so accomadating and nice. She really wants us to have the best experience possible, and when it comes to fixing problems, they make it a priority. Unfortunately, their efforts can't fix everything. The apartments are dark, having few windows. Unless you're facing the west or east you won't get direct sun at all. The parking garage is very insecure. My car was broken into, and they offered me a private garage, but... it's pretty inconvenient to get in and out of. There's a smoke smell in our bathroom that they tried relentlessly to get rid of, but it still remains. The elevators are very slow. Overall, if you're not a very picky person, this place will work well. But most importantly, if you're looking for a bright place with great security, you probably should look elsewhere.
