How Is This Rating Determined?

11/2/15

Rents are way too high for what you get.

This was a nice place at one time. Location good, rents were reasonable but suddenly the owner must have a lot of bad gambling debts. He has raised the rents sky-high. Last two rent increases were over 10% EACH TIME!! Unfortunately there are no amenities here either. No pool, no gym, no elevator, no garages. The rats ruined the things in my carport storage. Weevils and cockroaches inside and out. Don't think you can stay cool in this building. The A/C units do nothing because they are in... the front. The bedrooms stay so hot, your face will melt. Appliances and carpets never get replaced until someone moves out and only sometimes then. The owner thinks this has become Beverly Hills with the rents they are asking for. Don't bother renting here unless you like rent increases every few months and A LOT of them for A LOT of money. Just not worth it! Oh and don't believe the "smoke free" thing. It took the tenets two years and a lot of battles to get the owner to finally comply with city/county ordinances regarding smoking which plenty of residents still do, much to the stink for the rest of us!
